graphing inequality where the variable is an exponent

Hi. New to the site so maybe I missed this. Trying to graph y>=5^x-2 but the 2D inequality calculator doesn't seem to like this. Also, I don't see variables as exponents in any of the examples. Please help!

1. Is there any way to show gridlines on a graph? 2. Is there any way to just get a blank graph? 3. Once the max/min values are set for a graph, can the tick mark selection be adjusted. For example, instead of tick marks every 0.5, just by 1.

Can it be made that I don't have to logon every few minutes? If I'm doing homework, and turn my head for like 5 minutes, come back, fill the calculator in, and that darned oops message pops up.. it's darned annoying... can it be made that we stay logged in.. or at least until we close the window??? It's darned annoying.

6 month subscription ends after 8 days?

Hello, I just registered today, 11/3/09. In 'My Profile' my subscription shows it end in 8 days : "Your Current Subscription: 6-Month Subscription ends by 2009-11-11 17:31:53.0 " I'm sure this is just a database error, but I wanted to make sure there were no errors on my account. I would assume my subscription should end on 5/3/2010. Let me know and thank you.

Help using calculator

Hi, I just joined, and I am trying to imput a problem, but I apparently am not doing it correctly. The problem as it appears in my book is f(x)=2/3x^2-8/3x+5/3. I need to find the vertex, axis, domain and range, and then, graph it. I am supposed to be completing the square in order to find the vertex. I know that the calculator doesn't like the f(x). graphing multiple equations

When I try to graph multiple equations , y=log(3,x), y=log(3,x)+2, I get the message "unmatched parentheses". What's wrong?

I tried entering the equation "x+3y=10" the answers I receive do not seem to be correct? Also is there a setting to force a calculator to give the x and y intercept?
