i have 5 problems i need to put on a graph : x^2+y^2-64=0 4x^2+y^2-4=0 x^2+16y^2+160y+384=0 x^2+y^2+6x-8y+24=0 x^2+y^2-6x-8y+24=0 thanks |

You can use the Basic Equation Plotting Calculator: http://www.webgraphing.com/plotting_basic.jsp For the first equation, enter the equation exactly as you have it, but since it is a circle with radius 8, set Xmin=-8, XMax=8, Ymin=-8, and Ymax=8 to see the full graph of the circle. For the others, you can plot with one set of values for Xmin, Xmax, Ymin, and Ymax and then plot again with a different set after you see that the circle looks like. For example, the last one has a center at (3,4) with a radius of 1, so you might want to use Xmin=2, Xmax=4, Ymin=3, and Ymax=5. ---------------------------------------- Principal Skinner |
