Easy! Just enter the right hand side, 3^x-2, into: http://www.webgraphing.com/graphing_basic.jsp You will get a nice graph, showing the horizontal asymptote, y=-2, and the y-intercept, y=-1. You can use the "tutorial analyzer" to get the x-intercept as well, which is log(2)/log(3), and there is lots of other information as well for calculus students. ---------------------------------------- Principal Skinner |
